Chapter 2
Return and Consequences

Crono watched the time streams swirl around her and something about the scene gave her a strange feeling in the pit of her stomach. It felt like butterflies but was somehow stronger than she had previously experiences. Maybe it was because she didn’t have saving Marle to focus on so she could take in the sight but she just felt off. She didn’t have much time to mull it over because a pinpoint of light ahead of her grew larger as it came closer and soon she found herself staring at the northern grounds of the fair where Lucca had set up her telepod. Crono stepped out onto the stone surface and was greeted with the exotic smells of the fair. She closed her eyes and took in a deep breath, happy to once more be home. When she opened them she saw Lucca and Marle standing next to her smiling in her direction.

Lucca gave a satisfied sigh. “Well I think everything worked out just fine.” Marle set a hand on her hip and shifted her weight onto one foot. “Oh really, you mean going back into the past and changing history isn’t any concern?” Lucca sputtered in response. “Well, I guess…I mean, we’re all here….” Marle started laughing. “I’m just teasing you. I know you didn’t mean for any of this to happen and I really am glad you came to get me.” Crono walked over to Marle and put a hand on her shoulder. Lucca nodded. “Yah, I’m really sorry about that. I’m going to have to go home and figure out why that necklace of yours caused the gate to form in the first place.” Marle jump up suddenly. “Oh, my pendant! I completely forgot about it.” Crono dug into her pocket and fished out the necklace, handing it to Marle who cradled it in both hands. “Thank you so much.” She slipped her head through the open loop, allowing the gem to come to rest at the top of her cleavage.

Lucca started leaving speaking loudly enough for the two of them to hear as she departed. “Well it’s getting late so I’m going to get something to eat before I go to sleep. I’ll see the two of you later.” Crono looked down at herself and realized that she hadn’t eaten anything since breakfast at the start of the day. Marle sidles up next to Crono and grabbed her arm. “Hey, why don’t you come to the castle and have dinner. It’s the least I could do.” Crono tried not to let her eagerness show but the chance to spend more time with her blonde paramour almost made her bounce in excitement. Marle smiled at the physical reaction to the idea. “And when we’re there we can set you up with a new set of clothes to fit your…lovely figure.” Crono shot Marle a wry grin but didn’t add anything more as the two walked hand-in-hand to the castle.

They took a leisurely walk through the fair as the day was winding down. Many of the stalls had closed and there were fewer people walking around than there were earlier but the fair was still bustling with activity. While Marle did want to stick around a short while longer she had been away from the castle for most of the day and if she didn’t get back soon they’d probably notice and send someone to go fine her. She pulled Crono along with her towards her home and after traipsing through the woods the two of them ascended the stairs to the castle.

Crono was awed by the ancient fortress, its stone walls having stood for a thousand years and though not completely original, the remodeling that had happened over the past millennia hadn’t taken away any of its majesty. Marle smiled at Crono’s reaction and pushed the front door open. She was greeted with surprised stares from the guards. “Prince Nadia?” She nodded to one of them. “Hello, I’ve returned. Would you please tell…” She was cut off by a yell from the top of the stairs. “Prince Nadia! Where have you been?!” The short, stumpy Chancellor with her long white hair poking out from beneath the cap of state, came bounding down the stairs waving her arms frantically. “The King’s been worried sick!” Marle tried to calm the old woman down. “It’s alright Chancellor, I was just at the fair with my friend.” Marle gestured to Crono who had just stepped into the hall. The Chancellor pointed accusingly at the redhead. “You, charlatan, it was you who spirited away the Prince from us!” Marle stepped between the two of them to shield Crono. “No, Chancellor, it’s not like that.” The Chancellor didn’t seem to hear her words. “Guards! Take her into custody.”

Crono soon found herself flanked by several guardswomen with two of them grabbing onto her arms. “Now wait just a damn minute!” Marle grabbed one of the guards to try and pull her off of Crono but the Chancellor pulled the blonde back. “Hurry, take her away before she can corrupt the Prince anymore.” Crono was then lifted off the ground and carried unceremoniously deeper into the castle as she watched Marle try to fight her way through the barricade of guards to get to the redhead.

Chapter 1
A Long Time Ago….

Crono could hear the rustling of the wind through the trees and a few birds chirping in the distance but there were no signs of civilization. She saw a narrow path to one side and headed for it but stopped when a blue-skinned imp jumped out in front of her. That explained why she didn’t recognize where she was, she was on a different continent. She knelt down to ask the short creature if it had seen her friend but it ran up to her and kicked her in the shin. Crono yelped more in surprise than pain and jumped back. She heard a rustling sound and two more of the creatures appeared from behind the trees, all with menacing smiles on their faces. Crono remembered her sword and pulled the wooden weapon out knowing that it wouldn’t do much damage but it was better than nothing.

One of the imps rushed at her from behind and rather than swing her sword she kicked out a leg, catching the little guy in the neck with her heel, possibly killing him but definitely taking him out of the fight. The other two looked a bit surprised by the action and approached her with a bit more caution. Once on either side of the redhead they leapt at her at the same time. Crono caught one of them in the side with her sword but the other got ahold of her hair and yanked on it violently, sending her the ground as she tried to grab at the blue bandit. The evil creature continued to pull on her hair and as she had no clear shot at it, rolled over onto the imp. It flailed a bit as her weight pressed down on him but when she used her legs to bounce her body up and down she could feel the breath leaving him quickly. Eventually his grip loosened and she was able to scramble back to her feet. The imp was a bit slower in recovering and Crono was able to strike down with the sword as hard as she could, causing a sickening crack to echo throughout the area as she broke its skull.

Crono caught her breath from the impromptu fight and then beat a hasty retreat figuring it would be a good idea to get to a town as soon as possible. Crono found a stream and started following it, expecting that it would eventually lead somewhere but along the way she was accosted by a second group of imps. Rather that stick around she let her long legs carrier her away from the assailants, thinking that she had made the right choice by picking a short pair of heels to wear that day.

It only took a few minutes of travel before Crono found the forest ending and after running out into the open she turned to see if anything had followed her. She stood with her weapon clenched in her hand, breathing heavily while she listened for the signs of movement but all she could hear was the normal noise trees would make. She slid her sword back in its sheath and continued away from the woods at a more leisurely pace. In a short while she reached the outskirts of a town and though she didn’t recognize it something about the place seemed familiar to her. As she drew closer and started to see several people walking around she was surprised by how many clothes they were wearing. One woman was completely covered from neck to foot in a heavy, billowing dress with a cloth hat to boot and as the townspeople caught sight of her, Crono could see they found her as equally strange.

Crono stopped by an inn at the edge of the village and tried to find out where she was. Seeing that the majority of the population was Human she knew it couldn’t be Medina, but after she was finally able to pry out of the innkeeper that she was in Truce she couldn’t believe it at first. She stood outside and looked around at the buildings, none of which looked too familiar, but the placed that they sat was identical to the arrangement of the Truce she knew. The pathways, rather than being paved, were dirt or cobblestone, the town square was nowhere near as manicured as she remembered but it was in the same spot she remembered it to be.

While she was trying to calm herself down to figure out what was going on a woman walked up to Crono with an angry look on her face. She was even more concealed than the others, with only a hole cut into the heavy white and black clothing around her face. She started yelling at Crono for being an affront to god, using arcane words like ‘harlot’ and ‘whore’. In the middle of her rant Crono recalled hearing about people like her, so-called nuns who thought it was their job to go around and stop people from having fun for some reason. The woman suddenly grabbed Crono by her hair and started pulling her off somewhere and Crono fought back immediately. Not wanting to harm the woman, Crono slapped her as hard as she could in the face. The nun let go of her hair and dropped to the ground holding her cheek.

Crono was about to admonish the nun for what she had done but she looked around to see a few of the villagers walking in her direction with menace I their eyes. Either they were just as mad about something as the nun or Crono wasn’t supposed to hit a nun no matter what. Deciding that standing and fighting would be a very bad idea Crono found herself running for a second time that day, not stopping until the town or its people were out of sight. When she finally stopped Crono bent over and held herself up by her knees but she was too exhausted to hold that position for long and fell over onto the ground. She rolled over onto her back and sucked air into her lungs until her body had recovered enough for her to sit up. She looked around to find that she was in the middle of nowhere but far off in the distance she could just make out the top spire of the castle reaching up towards the clouds.

I need money

I mean, who doesn't. I've decided to create a Patreon page so that those few of you who would be willing to support me can. There isn't much information on the page at the moment but it's purpose is self-explanatory. I've posted the first reward there and will give you guys a bit of a preview:

Prelude

After Lavos emerged prematurely and blasted the land on Zeal apart, sending it crashing back to Earth, the Enlightened and the Earthbound were forced to mix once more. While this was an inevitability due to the system the Enlightened operated under being unsustainable, Crono and his companions accelerated the process. They forced Queen Zeal and her cadre to use an untested Mammon Machine which was able to cause the Ocean Palace to rise and become the Black Omen. The energies, both mechanical and magical, that the Black Omen threw off began to alter the small collection of life that survived the catastrophe, continually changing it in subtle ways that over the course of 13,000 years led to a different kind of World.

Prologue
Crono’s mom started walking up the stairs of her small house just as Leene’s Bell started to ring. The sound made her nipples harden at the memory of festivals past, it was the one twenty years earlier that she had gotten pregnant with her daughter. She smiled at the covered form of her child as she walked over to the window and pulled the curtains open, filling the room with the morning sun. She walked over to the bed and kneeled next to it, setting her generous chest on the edge of the mattress. “Come on, sleepyhead, it’s time to get up.”

Crono pulled the blanket down off of her face and blinked against the bright light. She looked up into the kind face of her mother and smiled at the older woman. “Would you like some breakfast before you head out to the fair?” Crono nodded in reply and her mother undid the top of her apron, letting the thin cloth fall down to reveal her head-sized breasts. Crono rolled onto her side and placed her mouth over her mother’s nipple and began to suckle. Her mother placed a hand on the back of her head, running her fingers through the long red hair of her daughter as she watched her nurse. She smiled contentedly and looked over the body of her child; she had grown into a fine young woman with long legs, wide hips, a round ass, a thin waist, and though her bust wasn’t quite up to the same level as her mother’s she hadn’t yet stopped growing and it would increase even more when she had a child of her own.

When Crono switched to her right breast she couldn’t hold back any longer and slid a hand under her apron to tease her slit. She couldn’t help herself; she always got horny whenever someone sucked on her nipples. She knew she should be able to control herself better, especially around her daughter, but no matter how hard she tried she just never could. Crono didn’t help matters any when she started caressing her tits, making sure to rub and pull on her sensitive nipples. As the heat rose to her cheeks and her breath quickened she slipped a few fingers into her steaming snatch and with the wet sounds of her self-love filling the small room she climaxed.

It took her a moment or two to recover and when she did she saw her lovely daughter smiling up at her with a hand between her own legs, rubbing at her own folds slowly. Crono sat up and kissed her mother, snaking a tongue into her mouth and grabbing onto the bubbly butt of the older woman before getting out of bed and searching for the outfit she wanted to wear to the fair. Her mother retied the apron and, with a bounce in her step, walked back downstairs.

Work work work

I was unable to work on the game much this past week because I was at a conference, but prior to that I did manage to spend several hours getting the next version ready. I've been able to set enough time aside this past month that leads me to believe I'll probably be able to get something ready at least by the end of the summer.

Currently I'm planning to have one big side-quest that's multivariate and full of scenes dealing with all the squicky goodness you all apparently love to see (I'd say something about that but glass houses and all....) If and when I finish it I'll start working on part two of the lactation side quest, but I don't believe I'll be able to get that one finished completely before fall comes around.

Oh, and here's a bit of a preview so far:
